Breaking News on 6 September 09 Sunday Labor Day weekend:
Just when you think and it made national and maybe international news that Chris Brown assault his girlfriend Brianna late 2008/earlier 2009; and through his plea to everyone..to FORGIVE HIM and that he is sorry and it will never happen again; and YOU would THINK, OTHERS who saw his plead on TV; you will THINK..SOME PEOPLE will learn and/or Refrain from SUCH bad behavior; especially if they are IN the SPOT LIGHT...2day on 6 September 09 Sunday (yes..on the Lord's Day)..Breaking News of Reality host of tis Site, Miss Tila was assaulted by an male acquintance that placed her in the hospital. The NFL player, now, perpetrator; Shaw Merriman, of the San Diego Chargers; was arrested for the ALLEDGED act upon Tila's person.
When is Enough..enough?
I have learned, from being a victim advocate; that NO MATTER how someone looks; as far as a female being a victim; SHE can be the average non-Star to a Star on TV; certain MEN's bad, negative behavior do not matter. ON a FEMALE's appearances, whether you are an average looking or as LOVELY as Brianna and NOW, 2 day, Miss Tila; EVERY FEMALE can be a victim.
When is Enough..enough?
Some ppl will say, an EYE for an EYE. Meaning, all men who beat on a female SHOULD get his "A" kicked as well. Some ppl will say, Be the bigger person and Let the criminal justice system deal with him.
The abuser, just like Chris Brown and others, who MAY NOT have made the news (but in ur local areas), the abuser will say.."I am sorry and it will never happen again. I love her."
YES, there are some who can recover and heal but DO SOME of YA women want to take that chance? Do some of ya will say, 'dang, he is fine and he drives a BMW and he gives me money' (to urself); so YOU forgive him. HEck, some will stay because of the act in the SHEETS. (Lets get real). Then, later, some females become a Headliner such as FEMALE Dies in a domestic incident (One that could have been avoided).
When is Enough..enough?
Listen ladies, I want to be real with ya. In simple terms, a MAN is not a man if he places his hands on u..without ur permission, in a way to cause bodily harm and/or intimidation.
Have a GUY told you:
"IF I Can't have you, NOBODY WILL"
"IF u ever leave me, I will kill you" (but he smiles and giggles).
"WHO WAS THat on the phone"?
Some females will say to the above, "I can handle it" or "He is a trip".
NOw, I know some MEn are also victims but I am MORE SO focusing on WOMEN. Whether YOUR on a Reality tv or NOT.
Miss Tila, If and if you read this; I hope 4 you a fast recovery on the OUTSIDE but a much more healing process on the INSIDE. I know ALOT of people will give their OPINION on what you should do or NOT do but YOU HAVE TO TAKE and MAKE that choice that is best for you.
Its hard, nothing is easy..when being a VICTIM. OH, and just like the MEDIA informing the world of ur INCIDENT; ONLY you KNOW..if TIS WAS A REPEATED INCIDENT.
Please take care and I hope ur fans will give YOU that support. WE ALL NEED A HELPING HAND.
WHEN IS ENOUGH..ENOUGH

pantysniffing pig: 09/10/2009 8:50 PM Enough will be enough when we start taking DV seriously in this damn country.
Remember when Nicholas Stefanov was beaten badly by Kelly Bensimon and nearly every talking head on our national broadcast stations laughed at Mr. Stefanov and called him a 'wimp' because he was a victim of domestic violence by a woman. That is what infuriated me and because of that, I no longer watch the Today Show. And will refuse to watch until Roker, the man who called Mr. Stefanov a 'wimp', is gone!
Everyone belittled the much larger Stefanov because of the fact he got abused by Bensimon. I seriously doubt that Bensimon would have been belittled like that if she was on the receiving end of a beating by Stefanov.
DV does not discriminate. No matter how much larger the man is, he can become a VICTIM of domestic violence to a woman.
No matter how famous the woman is, she can become a VICTIM of domestic violence. Tila is a prime example of this.
Which is why I want Goodell to suspend Shawne Merriman for NO LESS than 32 games!

enone22: 09/26/2009 1:23 PM It's sad seeing things like this happen. Women deserve much more respect than most men.
You'd think that in the society that we live in today; there'd be a lot more respect in sex, race, abilities.
These days, or even back in the world wars; women had huge roles and should've been given a lot of respect for those. As most of those roles were "a man's job". And still today, there are women automotive mechanics, sky-scraper workers, doctors, etc.
Like yes, women want to be treated as equals; but that does not mean that you can lay a hand on them. That's part of the respect factor. So I say this. If you're a man; and the thought of anything on the unrespectful side of things comes to your mind; stay away from the girl before you do something you regret.
I think most municipalities need more women police officers. That way things are taken a little more seriously by both sides durring apprehensions or what-have-you.
I really hope I made some sense there.

lifelover: 09/26/2009 11:25 PM Enough will be enough when we as people learn to adopt a more female-oriented society. We need to be more strict and prosecute every case of DV and undo the misogynistic mindset that young men have.We also have to bring back gentlemanly manners. Also,we need to treat DV as a serious problem(maybe even as an epidemic). We should strive to eliminate our sadomasochistic domination of other people, which would help to eliminate DV entirely.
