About Me:
My name is Cindy to start off. I think Tila is the sh!t love this girl. For everything she's done.
But I want to say that I think it's time this world has a change. I do not like President Bush due to the fact that he's aware of what's going on and isn't going to do anything about this. What I'd like to do is change the world one state as a time. My dream is to help those who are in third world countries that are starving and not having access to food. I think it saddens me to see this world gone mad and that so many are doing their best. But we can see more people help if they took the time to see that they need us the most.
I'm here to find friends and make a difference in the world because I think it's time we voice our opinion and what we want to change. But enough on that.
I live in Boston, having to move around as I was younger put alot on my family and I. We were never really in a stable place to call home. My family came from Cambodia having to run from Pol Pot and risking their lives to find freedom. All the stories they have told me were horrible and we cried and had tears of happiness. Because we are very fortunate to finally come here. I think after all they've been through I want to make a difference and change what they saw.
I've been doing anything I can working with difference organizations in Massachusetts to help those who are less fortunate and working with the ONE org here in boston. It's time to put your foot forward and do something if everyone put a little effort you'd be so suprised to see how many faces light up with joy! That's something magical (: Something that touched my heart and made me realize that I'm proud of what i've done and how far i've gotten in life. Nothing can bring me down!
Right now I am going to go for my bachelors degree and trying to get into helping the third world countries. I like to work on graphic design on my spare time it keeps my mind busy and full of ideas and imagination.
What noone knows is that I have been living with a hair condition called alopecia that causes my hair to fall out. And that to one point got really bad that I had to shave off all my hair and that put me in a self-esteem position afraid of what others might think of me and how I would look. It took about two and a half years to have my hair grow back. Looking back at that time I would say was the worst but it made me stronger as a person because I can go through anything if I gone through the whole image look. It's still an issue now with my hair but I'm living everyday happy not having to think about my hair. It's life and yes people would freak out about their hair falling out to a certain extent but I am okay and will deal with it.
I want to say now that I'm in EGP we are def going to take over the world and be unstoppable nothing can bring us down because of our strong personalities. I know that this is only the beginning there is going to be more to come and I know that I won't forget this!!
I guess that me in a nutshell :)
My GOAL is to start an organization and help those children and the elderly in Cambodia. They touched my heart when I went there two years ago. They have gone through so much and still have a smile on their faces I did everything i could to help them giving them money and providing faith and love and show them that people do care.
I am going to make sure that this will happen. They need to feel the love! |
