About Me:
I am an artist- I've been playing guitar for 36 years and singing for just about as long as I can remember. I do calligraphy, poetry, art, songwriter.
I played with some of the best in the music business: John Wiley- Keyboardist for "The Cars" before they hit it big in the 80's, Mike Unger, former lead guitarist for "Saving Jane"; Bobby Fuller; former guitarist for McGuffey Lane; and last but definitely not least; Larry Branum; former guitarist for Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers and Willy Nelson. I've also have been in the Marines and played overseas on FEN six times on radio and television mostly doing cover tunes while I served in the armed forces at Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan. FEN listening area covers a vast area. It covers not only the United States, but also, South China, mainland Japan (Tokyo), Guam, Phillipines, and South Korea. I also was in a World-Wide Family Talent Contest in 1981 at the age of 14 beating out my guitar teacher and placed third. The contest consisted of a VHS video tape sent around the world to complete at all the Armed Forces Bases, the one who wins the contest, competes worldwide with the videotape. I was happy to accept third place. and I came close in the competition. Music has always been my passion in life. Poetry is a close second. You can find my poetry on www.poetry.com. I've written poetry for the World Trade Center Memorial. But you know something, even with all the things I have done in my life, I'm still down to earth with people- I never let myself get too far out of hand because I know there's always someone out there who's going to be ten times better than what I am. And that keeps me level-headed. |

any kind is fine with me. rap is ok sometimes. depends on the type. I'm more of classic rock type I like to jam, and kick butt and take names with it.
